The Dilemma of Petrol Price

The scene is now a common practice whenever new petroleum prices are announced. Petrol pumps remain closed often after the announcement of new rates creating a lot of trouble for the citizens. The next day the same petrol pumps start operating and pocket extra profit on every liter of petrol. There should be something done to remove distress of people. The current hike in petroleum rates is implemented from today. The prices of petroleum products have been increased at the rate of Rs5.92 per liter on petrol, Rs6.94 per liter on Diesel. Meanwhile the prices of aviation fuels have also been increased in line with the rise in international oil prices. A new wave of inflation is expected after the hike. All commodities got affected by the petrol prices like vegetables, grocery, pulses etc as they need to be transported across the city or country. Aviation fuel prices will affect the fare of planes which is already out of reach of common man.
