In pursuit of bringing motor sport to Pakistan, Pakistan Racer Hunt 2009 talent hunt campaign has been launched. Trials for the massive nationwide talent hunt will be held in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. The aim is to bring motor sport to public attention, identify young talent and just give everyone a chance to become part of this sport and enjoy with their family and friends at an extremely affordable rate.
This will be an annual feature and 10 drivers will be selected every year for training and development from across Pakistan. The winner of each year’s Racer Hunt will be given an International Racing Contract by Racing Pakistan for the following year.

“Made in Pakistan” produced by “Still water Productions” and “Talking filmain” is an hour long documentary that was motivated by Newsweek’s cover story of October 29th, 2007 that declared Pakistan to be “The Most Dangerous Place in the World.” The film documents the lives of four ordinary Pakistani citizens during military rule in an effort to break Western stereotypes about the country.

The first commercial sale point of ethanol-mixed petrol E-10 or Bio fuel has been inaugurated in Pakistan by Prime Minister’s Adviser for Petroleum Dr Asim Hussain accompanied by Minister for Industries Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo. Ethanol-mixed fuel will be sold at Rs2.4 per liter less than regular petrol. Bio fuel is environment friendly also. Government was not giving subsidies on bio-petrol, but it is cheaper because of tax rebate.

Now days PIA has realized that it is not providing Lajawab Safar so the Slogan now says” Come Fly with us”, which looks like a request rather an attraction for the passenger. The Daily Times has published an interesting news regarding PIA.The crew of a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Birmingham to Islamabad was put on its toes when it learnt that mice accompanied them on board. The passengers of PIA’s flight PK-792 that landed at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport early on Monday, complained to the staff of seeing mice running around in the plane.

The capital of Pakistan has been converted into PPPistan or Zardaristan by the ruling party while celebrating 56th Birthday of late Benazir Bhutto. The party is not in quest of the assassin of Benazir instead they are playing with the sentiments of their voters by celebrating her birthday on a national level. The federal capital should have National Flag flaunting not the flags of a single political party. This is the next scandal after the missing portraits of Quaid-e-Azam from Presidency.

A loud explosion has been heard near the office of Rescue-15 here on Saturday.
Two policemen were killed after a young man carried out a suicide attack against Rescue 15, a police helpline unit, in the federal capital on Saturday. At least four other policemen were injured. The attack on the Rescue 15 in Sector G-8, 10 days after the one in Lahore last month, took place around 8.35pm, barely 24 hours after a bomb blast in a mosque in Dir, NWFP.
