In pursuit of bringing motor sport to Pakistan, Pakistan Racer Hunt 2009 talent hunt campaign has been launched. Trials for the massive nationwide talent hunt will be held in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. The aim is to bring motor sport to public attention, identify young talent and just give everyone a chance to become part of this sport and enjoy with their family and friends at an extremely affordable rate.
This will be an annual feature and 10 drivers will be selected every year for training and development from across Pakistan. The winner of each year’s Racer Hunt will be given an International Racing Contract by Racing Pakistan for the following year.

Trials will be held using 400cc Pro Biz Honda Twin Engine Karts. This year, Pakistan Racer Hunt 2009 has begun accepting entries on the 20th of September till 15 October.

Entry Packs with Rules and Regulations booklet along with all relevant details will be available at the following locations all across Pakistan.

Format:

30 Minute Theory Test (From Booklet enclosed in Entry Pack)
20 Minute Sprint Races (10 Drivers per heat)
Total 10 Finalists for 1 x 60 minute Final Race.

Prizes:

1st Place: Rs 150,000 + International Racing Contract for 2010
2nd Place: Rs 100,000
3rd Place: Rs 50,000
