The role of ICC with Asian teams especially Pakistan has been not so sound whether it is the decision of Oval Test or Umpire Darrel hare. The recent up setting decision was stripping off the rights of Pakistan as world cup 2011 co host, for which PCB had issued a legal notice to ICC. I had written in previous articles the detail.

PCB Chairman Ijaz Butt expresses utter discontentment over the ICC (International Cricket Council) for not inviting Pakistan in the last organizing committee meeting, held in Mumbai in April. The next meeting of the organizing committee is scheduled to be held in Mumbai on May 27.

Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ijaz Butt said though the world governing body had accepted Pakistan as co-host of the global event, he would not attend the next meeting, if invited. He termed it a victory that the ICC had recognized Pakistan as co-host, adding: ‘Insha Allah, in future, Pakistan would [also] succeed to get its right.’

It looks like that the matter is now going to be resolved biut if PCB remains silent it will not work for them. They demanded their rights & all other cricket playing nations should support PCB in this regard particularly Asian countries as the prevailing situation in Pakistan could be improved soon.
