Independence Day Celebration; #Pakistan Trending topic on Twitter

To mark Independence day celebrations this year on Social media Pakistanis unite to make it to the top of trending topics of the world’s famous Micro blogging site, Twitter. It was initiated by the GO GREEN Campaign and after the success of #PakCricket hash tag during the finals of T20 World Cup, won by Pakistan earlier this year. More than 7500 people turn their Display images painted GREEN with flags of Pakistan and show their love and unity towards the homeland. Farhan Masood and his volunteer team on Twitter helped people to turn their images green. It is surely an effort to portray a positive and non violent image of Pakistan globally.TOGETHER  WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE  is the message of this ongoing #Pakistan Go Green E rally via Face book and Twitter.

With a day to spare in 14 August celebrations the trending topic position has been achieved. #Pakistan has made it to the Number 2 position till now. It will climb higher INSHALLAH soon. Congratulation to all Pakistan and Tweeples who made this effort to celebrate Independence of Pakistan and build its healthier image through their inspiring tweets about the land of pure like these;
