Huma, 42, mother of two, was admitted to Apollo Hospital on Oct 20 when Huma’s condition worsened mid-air while on her way to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore from Pakistan. Huma had been in the intensive care unit ICU ever since.

Huma was suffering from sepsis (an inflammation of several tissues, including blood leading to kidney failure).A trained medical practitioner herself; Huma had a stint with some of the leading hospitals in Pakistan as a psychologist and a hypnotherapist. Arrangements are being made to take her body back to Pakistan later tonight.

On behalf of every Pakistani Pakfactor would like to convey condolences to her family. We are with Wasim and his family at this hour of need and pray to God to give them strength to bear this great and irreparable loss and prayed eternal peace for the departed soul.

May Allah grant the departed soul entry into Heaven. Ameen

While I cannot imagine the pain that Wasim and his kids are going thru, is their pain any less than those who lose their parents ON A DAILY BASIS in Waziristan? Shame on us. How can we allow ourselves to feel any more remorse for one pakistani over another. The people in the North are battling a war that is not theirs and paying with their lives. They are our current national heroes. We ahve to become introspective about ourselves. Shame on us for valuing celebrity over true valour.
