Go Green Rally on Twitter

1 August 2009 4 Comments

Celebrations of Independence Day have already been started on social media. Farhan Masood has launched a GO GREEN campaign on twitter urging Pakistanis to turn their Display pictures green by using Flag in them. There was an over whelming response to the campaign and hundreds of Pakistanis turned their pictures and avatars green on Twitter and Facebook by now. It has also been suggested to use hash tag #Pakistan in every tweet by Pakistanis to make it to top of trending topics by 14th of August.

ALL Green on Twitter

All Green on Twitter

Recently the tweeters had taken over Twitter when Pakistan won first T20 world cup and the enthusiastic Pakistanis all over the world tweeted with #Pakcricket and made history in trending topics. The same will be going to repeat again on this Independence Day when whole Pakistani nation will take over Social media again and spread the message of a resilient, calm and blessed Pakistan. Be positive with your attitude and comments about Pakistan and portray that image which the world is not ready to see from our side. We have to prove that we are united and we are proud Pakistanis.

GO GREEN.

Long Live Pakistan.

    Assalamu Alaikum
This Go Green Idea is very good and I really appreciate this. At least it will give us some hope for our country InshaAllah. At least some people do care about Pakistan, people like Farhan Masood, Tariq Ismail Sagar, Idrees Azad and many more are still among us. May Allah help us build a country that will run under Your and only Your Rules, InshaAllah
    Wassalam
